Job Responsibilities:
1) Student Admission/Enrolment
- Email letters of acknowledgement to parents drafted by staff on intake interview details, bus transport information etc as instructed by staff.
- Email letters of acknowledgement to parents drafted by staff on outcome of intake interviews or to continue with school if currently no class vacancy for child as instructed by staff on outcome of intake interview, intake interview details.
- Prepare school admission letters/relevant items for parents (e.g., orientation forms/student name tags etc).
- Submit monthly enrolment data in system by 5th of each month; Input student’s details into bi-monthly report for MOE. Submit student details to MOE Data Amin Centre as and when there is any student movement. Prepare enrolment data/documents for audits.
- Submit referrals’ data as “Prospects” to Shared Service team immediately upon referral to create student accounts in system database and update Shared Service team of changes in student info when necessary.
- Prepare and update class list/class teachers when there is any student movement or teacher re-deployment.
- Create classes for the school year and allocate students to the classes in Client Management System and update as and when necessary.
2) Financial Assistance
Enabling Transport Subsidy (ETS):
- Issuing and collection of completed and documents within deadlines; Ensure forms are completed correctly with relevant documents; Process and issue letters to parents if there are any changes to their transport subsidies.
- Monitor Means Test expiry dates of students and process Means Test renewal applications via HOMES, including follow up with HOMES officers and parents when necessary.
- Update ETS listing upon receiving Means Test results from HOMES and process monthly ETS claims to SG Enable including updating individual student info in ESMS before submission and preparing ETS claims documents for audits.
- Send finalised ETS listing to school bus vendor for invoicing purposes.
School Transport Subsidy (STS) using Discretionary Financial Assistance (DFA):
- Verify student status with SWs and with school bus vendor (i.e. which student stopped or started taking school bus in the month, etc.).
- Filling in of STS spreadsheet and sending outcome letters to parents.
Public Transport Subsidy (PTS):
- Fill in PTS request form and send to main office for disbursement of funds

Job Requirements:
- Minimum O Level or A level, Certificate in Office Skills or Diploma in Administrative Management.
- Preferably with some experience in social service or experienced working with PWIDs.
- At least 2 years of working experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
