Led by an experienced founder and advised by global industry leaders, SUMO is building a suite of scalable, interoperable tools to support investors, institutions, and ecosystems across RWA, DeFi, and emerging capital markets.

We’re seeking an experienced technology leader — not just a coder or dev lead — to serve as Co-Founder & CTO. You’ll architect the platform, hire and lead the engineering function, and co-own the roadmap of one of the most ambitious ventures at the AI × Token × Capital Markets frontier.

You’ve done this before — either as a startup CTO, founding engineer, or technical lead on a high-growth platform. You understand the demands of building from 0→1, and you thrive in environments that require strategic thinking, clear execution, and long-term vision.

This role is Singapore-based only (Citizen or PR) to meet grant and ownership requirements. Remote-friendly work structure with regular collaboration.

• SUMO IQ – AI-native intelligence engine for tokenized asset analysis and investor workflows.
• SUMO Score – Scoring engine for sentiment, traction, credibility, and ecosystem momentum.
• SUMO Reflex – Internal automation and AI workflow layer (agents, LLMs, prompt optimization).
• SUMO Ignite – Growth and distribution engine using AI-driven social scraping, engagement, and campaign flows.
• Governance & DAO Infrastructure – DAO-lite governance framework integrated with smart contracts and incentive systems for contributors and stakeholders.

• Architect and own the technical roadmap from MVP to scalable, multi-product platform
• Lead the development and deployment of AI-integrated, data-driven investor tools
• Build, hire, and manage a cross-functional engineering team (AI/ML, frontend, backend, infra)
• Integrate AI-enhanced dev tools (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Copilot) into product and engineering workflows
• Oversee platform security, compliance, DevOps pipelines, and agile delivery practices
• Collaborate on DAO governance, token strategy, contributor flows, and automation tools

We're building with a bias toward modern, AI-native, and automation-friendly tools:

• Backend / Data: Supabase (PostgreSQL pgvector), Node.js
• AI / ML: GPT-4, Claude, LangChain, Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Frontend: React / Next.js (Vercel)
• Automation / Growth: PhantomBuster, Zapier, Airtable, Notion Slack AI workflows
• Blockchain / Governance: Solana-based token infra, Gnosis Safe, custom DAO-lite tooling
• DevOps: Vercel, GitHub Actions, cloud-native pipelines

• 8 years of software engineering experience, with 2 years in a leadership or founder-level role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
• Candidates with non-traditional backgrounds (self-taught, bootcamps, or startup CTO experience) are also encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate deep technical expertise and leadership.
• Deep fluency in full-stack development and architecture (with recent hands-on experience)
• Experience in one or more of: AI/LLM tooling, DeFi/Web3 platforms, data infrastructure, analytics engines
• Strong leadership, product intuition, and ability to build from scratch under uncertainty
• Comfort with strategic trade-offs and iterative MVP delivery cycles
• A mindset of ownership, trust, and growth — you build culture as much as you build code
• Singapore Citizen or PR
