Job Purpose
The Senior VIP Relationship and Experience Host/Hostess at SUSHISAMBA Singapore, including Samba Room - High Energy Lounge, will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with high-profile guests, ensuring an exceptional dining and lounge experience that exceeds expectations. This role requires strategic networking, personalized guest service, and leadership skills to manage the VIP experience seamlessly while supporting the front-of-house operations.
VIP Client Relationship Management:
Identify, attract, and retain VIP clients through proactive engagement and personalized service.
Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Manage VIP guest profiles, ensuring preferences are noted and catered to consistently.
Deliver a weekly guest list of preferred clientele and book weekly industry groups on specified days. Follow and execute weekly host schedule.
Guest Experience Excellence:
Curate bespoke dining and lounge experiences tailored to individual client preferences, including exclusive reservations and personalized service.
Oversee guest relations to ensure all guests feel recognized, welcomed, and valued while recognizing and cultivating regulars.
Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback, requests, and concerns.
Operational Leadership:
Ensure seamless operations and service excellence across SUSHISAMBA Singapore and Samba Room - High Energy Lounge.
Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, bar, events, etc.) to deliver a cohesive VIP guest experience.
Assign daily tasks, manage staff schedules, and oversee reservation systems.
Revenue Generation & Business Development:
Develop strategic initiatives to drive revenue through VIP clientele and special events, including those hosted in Samba Room - High Energy Lounge.
Actively seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell SUSHISAMBA and Samba Room offerings.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain, Grow VIP guest lists and check in per week for Samba Room
Maintain VIP sales and tables at SUSHISAMBA based on the commission scheme
Event Planning & Hosting:
Assist in planning and hosting exclusive VIP events and activations to enhance brand visibility and client engagement, especially in Samba Room - High Energy Lounge.
Represent SUSHISAMBA at networking events to attract new clientele and strengthen existing relationships.
Compliance & Confidentiality:
Ensure all guest interactions and data handling comply with company policies and privacy standards.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding VIP client information and sensitive business matters
Communication & Working Relationships
Collaborate closely with the General Manager and department heads to align VIP strategies with overall business goals.
Foster strong communication with subordinates to ensure clear direction and consistent service delivery.
Coordinate with external partners and vendors for VIP-related services and events.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, preferably in fine dining or nightlife.
Proven track record in VIP hosting, client relationship management, and team leadership.
Strong planning and budgetary skills
Confident and dynamic personality, strong analytical and project management skills
Good business awareness including external markets and competitor positions
Good knowledge of policies and procedures, their development and applications
