Group Accountant (Consolidation)

The Company

Our client is a SGX-listed company with principal activities in hospitality and also one of the world’s leading multi-branded groups.

The Role

The Group Accountant reports to Senior Finance Manager, Group Consolidation and the Finance team is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities include:

• To ensure quarterly consolidation of the Group accounts and related financial and management reporting.
• Perform P&L and BS related party transactions (“RPT”) eliminations and ensure the differences are reconciled and resolved.
• Prepare and post consolidation adjustments with proper supporting documents and clear narrations.
• Generate consolidation working file (i.e. BS, P&L, Cash flow Statement etc).
• To ensure subsidiaries consistency in reporting and adhering to accounting standards.
• Maintenance of consolidation software and system upgrading or other process improvement projects.
• Any ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• To perform associate group quarterly accounts closing.

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in consolidation role in large SGX-listed companies or External Audit experience in Big Four/Mid-Tier Accounting firms and with strong knowledge of Singapore GAAP.
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent such as ACCA.
• Analytical and with an eye for details.
• Self-motivated and independent, strong team player, thinking out of a box and a growth mindset.
• Consolidation software experience such as Tagetik is preferred.
