Estimating Engineer - Costing

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform cost analysis and estimation for products/services.
• Assist in preparing quotations and related technical documentation for clients.
• Develop and implement computerized tools for costing, estimation, and quotation generation. Establish and improve standardized costing methodologies.
• Compare cost estimates against actual costs for completed projects. Participate in budget planning and control.
• Ensure accuracy in cost calculations.
• Research and identify potential component/part suppliers, collaborating with purchasing for cost-effective alternatives and improvements.
• Assist with internal and external coordination efforts.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Adhere to quality management system procedures for effective implementation and control.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Min 1year experience in cost estimation for projects within the electrical engineering field.
