Cloud DevOps Engineer (Permanent Role)

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our client team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to drive continuous integration, deployment, and cloud automation. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP to support scalable applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps for seamless deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Optimize cloud security, networking, and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for system orchestration and operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, cost efficiency, and reliability, proactively addressing potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps principles and best practices.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Document best practices, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud / DevOps Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience deploying cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to automate software delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is advantageous.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for automation.
