Senior Systems Engineer (IT Industry)

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and support hardware, software, and network installation and maintenance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures.
• Ensure operational systems meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational activities efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Provide timely project documentation and reports.
• Handle standby duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience with Windows Server OS, Unix/Linux OS, and virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, dynamic, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good interpersonal skills.Knowledge of VPN, firewall appliances, routers, switches, and hardware (servers, SAN, NAS).
• Experience in OS, system, and network hardening, as well as patch management.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, databases, web, or app servers.
