What The Role Is
This position is within the School of Business.
What You Will Be Working On
Drive industry development by spearheading partnership initiatives (local and overseas), encompassing multi/interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitating accelerated career pathways, and fostering mentorship, internship opportunities for students, and industry attachment for staff.
Execute industry collaboration initiatives with the various diplomas and departments to engage our stakeholders (i.e., students, alumni, and industry partners).
Lead business development efforts focused on identifying and pursuing industry consultancy projects in digitalization, sustainability and marketing.
Support the School of Business in research and consultancy work in the areas of digital marketing.
Teach full-time Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education Training (CET) courses and facilitate professional workshops, particularly Marketing and Communications & Media related subjects.
Plan and deliver lessons through appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods and this includes setting and marking assignments and assessments.
Review and update curriculum to ensure currency and relevance.
Contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events or activities.
What We Are Looking For
A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Communications & Media.
At least 3 years of working experience in digital marketing or communications & media management.
Good interpersonal and communications skills.
Customer-oriented mindset in managing various stakeholders.
Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
Adept in the use of technology and digital tools (experience in WordPress, FB/IG meta business, LinkedIn meta, TikTok, Google analytics etc is beneficial).
