Plan and supervise the maintenance of greens, tees and fairways; schedules work; and supervises the employees and the use of the equipment.
Instruct equipment operators on the usage and care of mowing and other equipment; supervises pesticide applications and/or operates and calibrates pesticide application equipment; and supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
Installs, maintains, and repairs irrigation systems.
Performs or oversees performance of golf course maintenance.
Assists in special construction projects as required.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Description (Includes and not limiting to the following :
Performs a wide variety of responsible duties requiring the exercise of judgment and initiative in the management of a municipal golf course operation.
To assist in the management of the daily operations and services of the golf course including: facility/building management; staff supervision and management;
Working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways and greens; seeding and maintenance practices for golf course turf; planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees; characteristics and proper use of various fertilizers and soil conditioners; herbicides and pest control methods and materials; drainage control methods; and irrigation systems, including wells, pumps and automatic controls.
Responsible for weekly scheduling and daily oversight of staff for the Club
To ensure that all work assigned are carried out smoothly and efficiently without any disruption in accordance with Company’s Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Management Plan.

Possess the following
recognise vocational & professional certification with minimum 10 years related work experience
possess CGCS GCSAA certificate is a must

excellent leadership/team management skills with strong interpersonal/communications skills
prepared to work long hours
salary offered will be based on individuals' experience & qualification
