A local company specialising in chip bonding is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join their team to support their business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automation systems and components in-house based on detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure all assembly processes adhere to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with design engineers to review and verify assembly instructions, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
• Perform testing and quality checks of assembled automation systems before deployment.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities, including system setups, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
• Create and update technical manuals, reports, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standard are maintained
• Ensure all work done meets quality
• Hardworking & willing to travel when job assignment

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in automation, mechanical design, or field support.

- Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Familiar with Mechanical Automation Design & Troubleshooting.

- Able to work independently
