Job Description
Supervise independently the various warehouse functions in the Asian Distribution Center: ensuring the operation is run efficiently and effectively with minimum errors to meet the business needs in line with Corporate business goals and metrics. Work closely with the Customer Fulfilment, Logistics, and Planning teams in Singapore and the APAC region to meet customer expectations on order fulfilment and delivery. Empower and train a flexible workforce.
Responsibilities
Lead and deploy resources in the distribution functions to support Asia-Pacific customers and warehouses.
Empower and coach the personnel to high work performance standards.
Plan warehouse activities to operate at optimum level to work towards efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate the operation and ensure it achieves the department's critical metrics. Ensure that customer’s orders are met timely with minimal error.
Run any capacity and productivity projects within the operation as assigned.
Implement and maintain policies and procedures and material control systems in functional areas.
Supervising the housekeeping and safety activities in the warehouse to attain superior standards of housekeeping and safety, as well as adherence to environmental compliance.
Ensure compliance to ISO, SOX and US FDA QSR for all processes within the warehouse functional areas.
Train, develop and motivate personnel to optimize their contributions to the organization as well as their own aspiration.
Requirements
Min Diploma Holder (supply chain/business)
Min 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse management
