The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and resolving hardware and software issues related to servers, storage, and technology devices, including resources and services hosted in cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the role involves managing application and database system concerns while ensuring the security and continuous availability of IT assets.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install, monitor, and maintain system hardware and software, ensuring regular updates and upgrades for all software and associated equipment.

· Manage all aspects of Active Directory services, including group policies, user accounts, security configurations, and Azure AD Connect.

· Monitor and analyze system logs to detect and address any unauthorized access attempts.

· Coordinate with third-party vendors for system support, maintenance, and required modifications.

· Perform software updates on test environments before deploying them organization-wide.

· Provide technical guidance, support, and training to staff and management on IT-related issues, including networking, operations, applications, and desktop support.

· Set up, configure, and maintain VMware (VxRails) and Hyper-V virtual machines, as well as administer domain-joined Windows servers and services (AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, file sharing, web services, etc.).

· Ensure server backups align with company policies and conduct periodic data restoration tests.

· Regularly perform system health checks on applications, servers, and network devices to maintain agreed uptime levels and performance.

· Ensure IT security compliance across servers, systems, and end-user devices.

· Implement and collaborate on IT projects with the support and focus on IT Infrastructure and network

· Handle service requests efficiently within the defined SLA and notify users upon completion.

· Actively follow up on unresolved technical issues, escalating them to vendors when necessary.

· Assess current system practices and suggest improvements or modifications to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and upgrade systems while maintaining an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and system databases.

· Conduct research and implement technical solutions to optimize system performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide regular status reports to management and perform system testing to maintain seamless operations.

· Maintain and update quality records in compliance with standard guidelines for identification, filing, storage, maintenance, and disposal.

· Assist in the management and proper maintenance of internal documents as required.

· Provide feedback to the manager regarding vendor-supplied products and services to support vendor evaluations.

· Perform any other assigned duties as required.

· Assume the responsibilities of colleagues in their absence.


REQUIREMENTS

· A recognized diploma/degree in Information Technology

· 2-3 years of related hands-on working experience in database, network administration, or system administrator

· Experience with scripting and automation tools

· Preferred to have system administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft or other network related fields

· Administration Skillsets: CyberArk, Ops Manager, AD Self Service, Cloudfare, Barracuda Email Archiver, Proofpoint Email Security, SMS Gateway, FortiGate Firewall, Aruba Central WIFI, Microsoft Intune, WSUS, Bitlocker Encryption, Entra SSO Integration, Web SSL Certificate renewal, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, DNS Records Update and etc.

· Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is a plus
