Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Pilates Instructor Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about pilates/fitness and eager to gain experience in a studio environment. The Instructor Assistant will support our system in delivering exceptional classes, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. This position requires a commitment of approximately 4-5 hours per day, [5 days of the week or flexible schedule details].

*Responsibilities:*

• 
  *Class Support:*
• Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment (reformers, mats, props).
• Assist with setting up and repairing equipment (reformers, mats, props).
• Provide only hands-on adjustments and modifications to clients. No instructions required.

• 
  Ensure the studio space is clean, organized, and prepared for each class.
• Assist with client check-in and provide a welcoming atmosphere.

• 
  *Client Assistance:*
• Provide attentive and friendly support to clients before, during, and after classes.
• Answer basic client inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources.
• Assist clients with using equipment and provide guidance on proper form.
• Help to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
• *Studio Maintenance:*
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, including equipment and common areas.
• Assist with laundry and restocking of supplies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the studio manager.
• *Administrative Support:*
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing client information, as needed.
• Assist in selling retail items.
• Social Media Content Creation

*Qualifications:*

• 
  Passion for pilates and a strong interest in health and wellness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
• Basic understanding of pilates principles and exercises (prior experience preferred but not necessary as training will be provided on how to assist clients).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physical ability to demonstrate exercises and assist clients without any verbal cues.
