Responsibilities:
· Assesses and provides individualized Occupational Therapy intervention for children (2 to 6 years old) with a wide range of developmental and sensory-motor challenges (e.g., fine motor delays, sensory processing difficulties, motor planning issues).
· Conducts group Occupational Therapy sessions (7 to 14 years old) focusing on areas such as self-regulation, motor coordination, handwriting, and daily living skills.
· Establishes strong therapist-parent relationships through regular feedback and open communication; provides parents and caregivers with updates on the child’s progress and relevant home strategies after each session.
· Updates parents regarding sessions and progress through text, photos, or videos to support continuity of care at home.
· Maintains accurate and timely case notes post-sessions independently.
· Builds a professional network and maintains good relationships with other specialists in the field to enhance collaborative care.
· Provides parent and caregiver training to ensure continuity of therapeutic strategies at home, addressing daily routines, self-care independence, and sensory-friendly activities.
Requirements:
· MUST possess a Degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act.
· Have obtained Full Registration with Allied Health Professions Council
· Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
· Experienced in assessment, diagnosis and implementation of treatment / intervention programs and support of activities of daily living
· Evident proficiency in English Language and well spoken
· Experienced in caseload management inclusive of parental concerns and clinician related challenges
Full-time, 5-day work week Monday to Friday.
Arrangements: 2 days in Tampines, 3 Days in Woodlands. (9am to 5pm, 1 hr lunch break and 1 hr paper work)
