Deputy Centre Lead (Preschool) - Telok Blangah

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Principal, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to curriculum planning and professional development by offering guidance, mentoring teachers on pedagogy, teaching methods, and the effective use of tools and resources.
• Leading the development of strategies for enhancing parent engagement, community involvement, and talent management.
• Overseeing the management and optimization of center resources, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and managing controllable expenses.
• Implementing and managing center programs, initiatives, and events.
• Handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the center.

Requirements:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• A Diploma in Preschool Education - Leadership (DPL) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with ECDA regulations and EYDF.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A genuine passion for child development and early childhood education.
