Job Responsibilities:
Plan and Implement Curriculum and Programs
Implement caregiving routines and learning materials in line with the Early Years Development Framework.
Create developmentally appropriate and high-quality learning environments under the guidance of leadership.
Document and track children’s learning and developmental progress.
Build respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers.
Apply health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene practices in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in the infant care setting.
Build Stakeholder Relationships and Partnerships
Establish positive rapport with colleagues in alignment with the Centre’s strategies and policies, fostering a supportive work environment.
Help establish relationships with families to ensure the continuity of care and learning between home and the Centre.
Assist in coordinating activities between families and the Centre.
Collaborate with families and community stakeholders to enhance the Centre's programs and services.
Manage Family and Community Programs
Work with colleagues to execute outreach initiatives that promote the Centre’s programs and services.
Collaborate on projects with families and community stakeholders to enhance engagement and support.
Partner with colleagues to evaluate family and community programs, identifying areas for improvement.
Conduct Routine Caregiving
Conduct caregiving assessments under the guidance of the Senior Infant Educator.
Provide routine caregiving according to established standards and procedures.
Offer suggestions for improvements in caregiving practices based on observations.
Uplift Professional Practice
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Centre’s vision, mission, and values.
Contribute to the development of effective teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging trends, technologies, and tools.
Identify areas for personal improvement to enhance work performance.
Engage in professional development and contribute to service quality improvement activities.
Provide feedback on potential new teaching and caregiving approaches based on observations.
Role Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) and other qualifications as required by ECDA.
