Finance Manager (5 days / Logistics industry) - WC2

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle for the company and its subsidiaries, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and submit consolidated financial reports to headquarters within specified deadlines.
• Develop, review, and enforce financial policies, systems, and internal controls for compliance and efficiency.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Handle corporate tax filings, calculations, and ensure adherence to local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and facilitate a smooth audit process.
• Process payroll, staff claims, and reimbursements for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and treasury-related activities.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial tasks and process improvements as required.

Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
