Network Engineer

Design and Implementation:

• Develop, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support physical security systems, including surveillance cameras, CCTV with Virtual Analytics, access control systems, and alarms.
• Design scalable and reliable network architectures for security systems, incorporating VLANs, firewalls, and switches.
• Configure routers, firewalls, Layer 2 switches, and wireless devices to ensure seamless communication between security components.

Integration of Security Systems:

• Integrate physical security systems with IT infrastructure to ensure smooth communication and data flow.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to deploy advanced security solutions aligned with organizational needs.
• Configure and optimize software and hardware for physical security devices such as CCTV, biometric access systems, and intrusion detection systems.

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Implement monitoring tools to track the performance of security networks and systems.
• Analyze network traffic for anomalies, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure system uptime.
• Work with security teams to respond to incidents, vulnerabilities, and system failures.

Maintenance and Support:

• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and apply firmware, software updates, and patches for networked security systems.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams and system configurations for security infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and internal security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
