Optometrist - Central - WC3

Responsibilities:

• Perform refractions and clinical evaluations of patients' vision.
• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic and investigation equipment (training provided).
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses based on evaluations.
• Assist the doctor during patient consultations and clinic operations.
• Help with general administrative tasks, including submission and logistics.
• Provide pre- and post-operation counseling, including financial guidance.
• Manage patient registration, medication preparation and dispensing, payment collection, and appointment scheduling.
• Educate patients on vision care, optical aids, and their vision status.
• Address patient inquiries and provide necessary information.
• Ensure all ophthalmic equipment is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate medical files for all patients.
  

Requirements:

• Fully Registered (Full-Reg) with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
• Diploma or Degree in Optometry.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
