Job Posting for Project Engineer (Electrical) - WC2 at WECRUIT PTE. LTD.
Take charge of assigned projects.
Requisition necessary resources such as labor, materials, and equipment.
Plan for timely delivery and minimize material, equipment, and resource wastage.
Monitor the progress and performance of subcontractors.
Manage project schedules and take corrective action for any deviations.
Liaise with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work, and statutory authorities regarding project progress, approvals, and issues.
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely delivery of project-related items.
Oversee project handover to the customer upon completion.
Administer contract matters, claims, disputes, variations, and final accounts.
Provide on-the-job training for new project staff.
Assign and supervise subcontractors’ work.
Ensure adherence to safety practices on-site.
Resolve work coordination or technical issues at the site.
Inspect incoming materials and equipment for the project at the worksite.
Conduct quality checks on completed work.
Arrange overtime work when necessary.
Raise non-conformance reports for defective products.
Conduct project planning.
Prepare and control shop drawings.
Prepare material requisitions.
Monitor and manage stock control of materials at the site.
Recommend and implement corrective actions for non-conformance performance.
Prepare a Quality Plan.
Ensure all site work follows valid approved drawings, Architect Instructions, Engineer Instructions, and client/main contractor directives.
Carry out assignments as instructed by the Senior Manager, Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager.
