Project Engineer (Marine Construction)

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare construction schedules, coordinating activities effectively.
• Monitor and report on project progress both on-site and off-site.
• Prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients.
• Review project specifications, including civil, structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Monitor construction activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, complying with all regulations.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the project as assigned.
• Arrange and coordinate site inspections with RE & RTO.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings with site supervisors and WSHCs to discuss site activities and tasks.
• Attend safety and site work meetings with clients on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Prepare project submissions such as RFIs, MS, RA, SWP, shop drawings, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate project records and manage document control for ISO compliance.
• Organize teams to handle emergency defect repairs on Sundays and public holidays, updating clients on progress via WhatsApp.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure or marine construction preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in dredging, reclamation, or near-shore construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.
• Daily sea travel to island work sites is required.
• Must be willing to work on Sundays or public holidays when needed (Emergency Recovery Work).
• Flexibility to assist with various projects as required.
• Owning a personal vehicle is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

6 days work week, (7am-7pm)
