Sales Engineer (Quantity Surveying)

Sales & Business Development:

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to secure new projects.
• Identify and engage with potential clients to generate business leads and establish long-term relationships.
• Develop and deliver project proposals, tenders, and technical sales presentations.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.

Quantity Surveying & Cost Estimation:

• Prepare precise cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Support contract management, tender preparation, and bid submissions.
• Evaluate project risks, financial viability, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Project & Client Management:

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to contract specifications and budgetary limits.
• Offer technical and commercial advice to improve project profitability.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prefarable 3 years of experience in sales, business development, and quantity surveying within the construction industry.
