• Trade Strategy: Develop and implement a strong trade strategy by analyzing macroeconomic trends, geopolitical shifts, economic policies, and their alignment with ESL’s goal of becoming a key regional player.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, assess the competitive landscape, and uncover business opportunities. Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics ("Fingerspitzengefühl") to stay ahead.
• Revenue Management: Oversee pricing and revenue optimization strategies to enhance profitability and market competitiveness.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to service operations, including market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and geopolitical uncertainties, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Cost Management: Collaborate with operations teams to maintain an optimal cost structure, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness in trade operations.
• Trade Leadership: Lead teams across HQ, agencies, and the network to drive performance, ensuring alignment, clarity, and effective execution of trade initiatives.
• Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships with key customers and partners, working closely with commercial teams to manage tender negotiations and long-term partnerships.
