1. Media Development

Assist teachers with development of media content

eg Powerpoints with video, instruction videos, video-editing for events, creation of podcast, recording and editing of audio files, etc.

2. Maintenance of IT/AV/Makerspace/Non-SSOE Equipment

Loan, manage inventory, maintenance and servicing of:

Microphones

Mobile PA system

School PA system

Non-SSOE Mobile devices (ie. iPads, tablets etc.)

– Charging and updating of apps

– Deployment of equipment to classrooms when required

Makerspace equipment (eg. 3D printer, 3D pen, etc)

3. Technical Assistance and expertise (Equipment-related)

Assist teachers in any technical-related matters (Example projector, visualizer and microphone issues)

Assist teachers in use of Chroma Key, Audio-Visual recording, etc.

Provide expertise and advice during Professional Sharing

Record user guides for AV equipment

4. Vendor liaison

Assist HOD ICT in sourcing for vendors for AV equipment, arrange demonstrations, etc

Suggest up-to-date AV solutions based on schools’ needs

5. Photography and Videography

Assist in taking photos and/or videos for school events

Basic photo and video editing as necessary

6. AV support for school-based events

Coordinate AV support structure to cover school events ie. Morning assemblies, Concerts, Examinations, sports carnival etc.

Administrative Responsibilities

Prepare Documentation Preparing and updating all forms for ICT related documentation for the school

Manage IT Equipment loan Facilitate IT hardware/software loaning procedures

Update hardware (Non-SSOE) inventory Perform inventory update for Non-IT related hardware. Example Microphone, visualiser, patch-panel, iPads, tablets, etc.

Condemn hardware Assist in the IT / Non-IT hardware condemnation process. Example: identifying and tagging IT/Non-IT hardware for condemnation.

Vendor Liaison

Vendor Sourcing Involve look-up for vendor for certain services, products and ICT programme

Vendor contract Negotiation Involve communication with vendor/suppliers to discuss on the services/ products/ICT programmes

Vendor Project Meeting Involve attending/conducting project meeting with vendor/suppliers on the services/products/ICT programmes which the school is engaging.
