Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and implement library policies and Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs") for library operation and management
Provide the relevant management reports on library usage or transaction statistics, such as loan of materials, reference enquiries and etc., in accordance with the Authority’s requirements as to the frequency and schedule of report submission.
Manage the Library Management System (“LMS”), i.e. circulation, cataloguing, acquisition and access to online catalogue. To maintain accuracy of data in LMS and to monitor the movements of library items.
Perform library counter duties and manage the library loan services.
Manage the inter-library loans and document delivery
Liaise with relevant Divisions on facilities management, IT and security matters.
Requirements
A Diploma (preferably from a local polytechnic) with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience.
