Roles and Responsibilities
Inventory Control : Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to ensure they meet demand without exceeding budgetary constraints.
Stock Management : Create and setup item number. Tracking inventory movements, conducting stock audits, and reconciling discrepancies.
Transportation Management : Coordinating the transportation of goods, selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring shipments are delivered on schedule.
Warehousing and Storage : Managing warehouse operations, including layout planning and organizing inventory.
Process Improvement : Identifying inefficiencies and implementing strategies to streamline inventory processes.
Specifics
Pre-Setup: Transformation Project:
Setup up D365 item numbers. Create unique item number for each SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).
Setup D365 logical location (GR vs GI, Winbell, Knowledge Computer).
Replace 3PL SKU with IPS item number
One time stock take on 3PL inventory
GR: Perform GR upon 3PL confirmation.
GI: Dispatch:
Create Kit number (Pick and Pack) to support Build
Trigger 3PL dispatch based on request.
Track dispatch request . Total Qty does not exceed assigned quantity.
Perform GI based on i) Dispatch qty and location, ii) Mass GI
Monitor:
Bulk RMA status
T-Loan status
Review : 3PL monthly invoice for Purchasing Order Creation.
Stock take : Two planned physical inventories counting per year and 1-2 unplanned inspections on a random basis
