Technical Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Manager to lead our technical team in delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring operational excellence. The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical projects, providing hands-on support when needed, and coordinating across departments to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of engineers, developers, or technical specialists to ensure timely delivery of projects.

2. Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members.

3. Oversee system architecture, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technical solutions.

4. Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements, compliance standards, and security policies.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, product, and management to define project scopes, schedules, and deliverables.

6. Monitor performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high system availability and reliability.

7. Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships as needed.

9. Maintain up-to-date documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

10. Ensure continuous upskilling and professional development of the technical team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience (typically 5 years) in a technical role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

3. Strong technical knowledge in technologies/systems – e.g., cloud computing, networking, software development, system integration].

4. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from concept to completion.

5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics and stakeholder engagement.

7. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
