Yellowave Beach Sports Venue - Cafe Team Member

We are looking for someone with the right personality to fit the job and join the Yellowave team helping to run the beach cafe.

Please note the applicant must be 18yrs or over and able to work the hours set out below.

Minimum availability:

2 evenings per week (Mon-Fri) - 5pm-10.30pm
Weekends (range of hours)
Plus potential additional hours on weekdays

Yellowave Beach Sports Venue is a small business well known in Brighton for it's environmental credentials and excellent customer service. As the first beach sports venue of it's kind in the UK we are a unique company offering beach sports on sand and a sunny, beach cafe in a California vibe atmosphere that is inclusive and welcoming to all. The venue offers beach volleyball courts, coaching, a beach cafe and beautiful clubhouse space used for yoga and classes. The Yellowave team is extremely supportive with a customer service that is known locally as 'so friendly'. The working atmosphere of the team is key to the success of the business. Role includes:

Working in the café including:
- Till, washing up, making smoothies, making coffees, clearing tables.
- Cafe close duties
- Cleaning
- Overseeing the smooth running of the venue
- Closing the venue
- Setting up and packing cafe equipment

Hourly pay: £9-£11.45/hr
Plus 28 days holiday accrued and paid monthly (pro rata)
