Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic maths skills to process payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in training new staff members in bartending techniques and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
• A genuine desire to help others and create enjoyable experiences for patrons.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£17.19 per hour
