Directly Control shift production output and quality of product
Manage, motivate, develop and oversee training of all members of the shift team
Fully implement GMP, hygiene and quality control policies
Report and Implement all company H&S policies
Ensure food safety and legality of all products
Maintain written input and output records of all production per shift

Work closely with other shift managers to maximise production
Participate with the continuous improvement to drive the factory efficiency
Work closely with engineer department to reduce downtime

Ensure all agency workers have clear instructions for each task

Ensure and maintain quality of all product within the required specification
Monitor and control all specific quality parameters

Responsibilities
Strive to achieve KPI`s set by the Company
Generate Data to analyse daily production Costs
Ensure an efficient hand over of shift and highlight any problem
Carry out factory floor based induction training for all new starters
Ensure that all Company information necessary for good industrial relations is disseminated trough the appropriate channels and reaches factory operatives in a timely and effectively manner
Compliance
Ensure all operatives comply with all policies and procedures
Implement and Deal with all corrective actions to address any issues that may come across
Carry out accident investigation as necessary
Maintain all training records up to date
Prepare and ensure all shift reports are maintained accurate with the correct form
Your profile
Previous experiance in a supervisory role in the food industry
