Our Public Sector client is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join their Digital Delivery team on a 12-month contract. If you're excited about building modern, user-centric applications and services that meet Usability, Accessibility, and Cyber Security standards, this is the role for you!

In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will be part of an agile delivery team working on the development of a new public-facing digital authorisation application, an associated back-office database, and internal systems that power important public services.

What You’ll Do:

• 🛠️ Work as part of an agile, delivery-focused team, collaborating to develop and implement front-end solutions.
• ⚡ Use Angular, NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to build front-end applications that meet high usability, accessibility, and security standards.
• 🔄 Develop and integrate REST APIs to create seamless communication between services.
• 🏗️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a CI/CD environment (using MS DevOps) to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
• 👩‍🏫 Guide and mentor team members, sharing your expertise and best practices.
• 🔧 Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes in an Agile setting.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 💻 Proven experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and front-end technologies.
• 🌐 Proficiency in Angular, NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 🔌 Solid experience with REST APIs and integration.
• ⚙️ Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).
• 🗃️ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• 🏃‍♂️ Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
• 👨‍🏫 Mentorship experience within a development team.

Desirable Skills:

• ☁️ Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• ⚙️ Familiarity with MS DevOps.
• 💾 Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB).
• 🔐 Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-code tools.
