If so, I am working with a great company in Wetherby who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant.

You will ideally have experience of Xero.

Your Daily To List

Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests

• Bank reconciliations
• Raising Bank payments and investor refunds
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements
• Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements.
• Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
• Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the Payhawk system
• Submit meter reads and download utility invoices.
• Assist with the Companys annual audit
• Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines e/g entertaining analysis for p11d purposes Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review
• Posting of accruals & prepayments
• Reconcile loan accounts
• Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes.
• Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management

Qualificationsand Skills

• Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
• 2 years accounts experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel
• Being flexible and taking an active part in the implementation of new practices and processes.
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
• Computer literate - knowledge of Xero desirable
• Proactive
• Good communication skills
• Great team player and enjoys being hands on.
