Join Ben Sherman as we strive forward in the Menswear market. This is a key time to join the business and be part of our ambitious plans. We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandise Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team based in our modern Head Office at Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Purpose of the role:

As a Merchandising Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role within our Merchandising Teams. You will provide essential admin support to your department.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade and planning:

  • Manage daily admin of the production tracker and/or internal system, ensuring all ex-factory and into warehouse dates are maintained and update on a regular basis under the support and guidance of the Junior Merchandiser / Merchandiser.
  • Manage daily admin of the bulk Critical Path. Chase suppliers and contribute to weekly critical path meetings under the support and guidance of the AB/JB.
  • Raise purchase orders via the internal system and excel
  • Utilise stock movements to meet customer and business demands under the support and guidance of the Junior Merchandiser / Merchandiser
  • Update daily/weekly departmental reports and produce ad hoc data analysis on request

Additional Responsibility:

  • Communicating with suppliers and customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensuring any special requirements for customers are followed
  • Ensuring all barcode data is either produced or supplied to manufacturers in a timely manner
  • General office duties.
  • Special Project work for the department as and when required
  • Issuing available stock reports on a weekly basis
  • Working with the Merchandiser to ensure all shipment paperwork and invoices are correct and issued to the customer in a timely manner
