This is your chance to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge laboratories, with a focus on the cut-up room.

This position is perfect for recent Life Science graduates eager to kick-start their careers and pursue the Biomedical Scientist pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately sorting and booking in specimens for cut-up, assisting with cut-up procedures as required.
• Performing reagent changes and maintaining laboratory equipment like processors and embedding machines.
• Preparing solutions and ensuring proper packaging of stock transport boxes for delivery.
• Conducting chuck-out procedures and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the cut-up room.
• Providing critical support to NHS teams when needed.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Life Science or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge or exposure to Histology or a Histology environment is a strong plus.
