Construction Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

Duties

• Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures.
• Perform general site clean-up, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from lorries.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Help with the assembly of scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Adhere to project timelines and contribute to meeting deadlines.

Skills

• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools is advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction tasks.

Job Types: Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
