Kitchen Assistant: Burford School Boarding Department
Salary Grade: Grade 2, Point 2, £14,145 per annum pro-rata (£22,366 full-time
equivalent)
Hours: 26 hours per week - there is the option of a job-share
(2 week shift pattern, incl. some evening and weekend work)
Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks per year (Term time plus three weeks)
Responsible to: Catering Supervisor
Start Date: 1st September 2024.
Required from September 2024, a part time Kitchen Assistant to work 26 hours per week (or less if job-share), 41 weeks per year, involving some weekend and evening work. The post involves assisting in the delivery of all Catering Services to students, staff and visitors within the school, and we are happy to consider requests for more or less hours of work.
Experience is not essential as full training will be given. All successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS Certificate which the school will arrange on appointment
