Shopfitting joiner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shopfitter Joiner to join an expanding family run business, based in Bolton. With over 15 years’ experience in construction, joinery and shopfitting Building on reputation by undertaking activities in a sustainable and responsible manner, taking pride in everything that they do.

The Roles and Responsibilities of the Shopfitter Joiner will be:

· Working on a range of fit outs throughout the UK

· Confidently and competently carrying out first and second fix joinery, metal stud partitions, plaster boarding, ceiling systems, including lay in grid and MF

· Fitting of cabinetry and furniture, finished to a high level

· You must be able to work from drawings and written specifications

· You must be confident in receiving and working to verbal instructions

· Able to complete all necessary paperwork efficiently and on time

· Comfortable liaising with colleagues and clients to ensure all project requirements are met

· Happy to travel and work away when required is an essential part of this role

· The skills and experience of the Joiner/Shopfitter will be:

· Knowledge of shopfitting, fit-out, building, construction and trades sector is essential

· A proven track record of assisting with delivering small/medium projects

· A Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 3 would be required

· Experience with MF and suspended ceilings, drylining and fitted furniture

· Being comfortable working with a wide range of materials is essential

· Qualifications in Asbestos Awareness, First Aid, IPAF, SSSTS/SMSTS are desirable

· You must be a great team player, but capable working on your own

· You must be confident, organised, with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude

· Own Vehicle and 110v power tools & Battery power tools.

Must be:

Salary:

• £250 per day plus expenses and allowances.
• Site hours 7am - 6pm

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £250.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Joinery / Shopfitting: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (required)
