Our core business is globally sourced premium coffee, light food, alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages and a curated selection of natural health-focused supplements and beverages sold on-site. This will be complemented with an extensive range of products for sale on our e-commerce website.

The CafeHouse has an in-house roastery that will supply freshly roasted coffee beans directly to our customers and wholesale to other cafes, corporate and hospitality companies.

Our complementary offering is a community dedicated to addressing the key challenges faced by our target audience. Through signalling and analysis, we will then identify prevalent demands and create tailored masterminds, events and courses around specified topics, with relevant key people of influence.

WHY WE NEED YOU

Our cafe will be open Monday-Sunday with varying hours, in the evening we continue to be open as a bar. We are looking for 2 full time baristas/FOH to cover openings and take ownership of the coffee, 2 full time bartenders/FOH to look after the beverages and execute customer care in the evening, as well as 4 part-time baristas/bartenders to support them running the show.

With entrepreneurship and growth at the heart of the company, we hire based upon personality and values and how we think you might enjoy working within our team.

Skills like barista and bartending we can teach you, but we cannot teach you how to be a team player, passion and taking pride in your work, take initiative and be creative, or how to interact with our guests to offer the next level experience. If you think your personality can bring that to the table, then we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for 2 full time and 4 part-time baristas/front of house to run the show.

Although coffee is our expertise and we want to showcase excellence at all times, we are looking to curate a team that supports each other and shares the weight of other tasks, like ensuring tables are clean and hygiene standards are maintained, customers are looked after and we are developing innovative ideas.

The right person for us: - Has proven experience with speciality coffee made to recipe- Is used to working in high-pressure, high volume environments- Has a great attitude - we are a small team spending long hours with each other and would like you to approach things with the same positive attitude we try to have! We don’t want our staff to dread coming to work every day because that’s no fun for anyone- Isn’t afraid to give their opinions or ideas - we are open to anything that could make our business better so please do tell us!- Experience using Victoria Arduino equipment would be advantageous but isn’t essential

Responsibilities:

• Preparing specialty drinks/dialling in coffees
• Preparing alcoholic beverages
• Occasional opening/closing duties
• Basic food preparation (cakes/pastries)
• Excellent customer service
• Money handling
• Ensure shop floor is kept clean and clear
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and hygeine- following SOP
