I am a lady living in the B90 area of Solihull who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant for my 22 year old daughter, who is autistic.
She is very able and self-caring but needs someone to support her to build her independence. She is great company, keen to socialise and interact and she enjoys keeping active.
The ideal candidate will have similar interests to my daughter, will be understanding, patient and reliable. You will assist her to gain confidence using public transport, support her with routine tasks of living and help her to understand the value of money.
Knowledge of autism would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided. Understanding and patience are the key requirements for the role.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to make a real difference to my daughter, whilst fulfilling an enjoyable, flexible and rewarding role.
A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK and use of a car would be useful, but not essential.
