Job Role: Barista/Server
Location: Didsbury, Manchester
Job Type: Part-TIme
We are seeking skilled and experienced Full-Time Baristas to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in the role and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving artisan coffee, homemade patisseries, and gelato, as well as taking orders and serving food and drinks to our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to customer requests
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained
- Take customer orders and serve food and drinks promptly and accurately
- Communicate with customers to ensure that their needs are met, and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, and ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed
- Participate in training and development activities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Barista
- Ability to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, and the ability to follow health and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for the food and beverage industry, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
