We're on the lookout for a number of Pet Claims Assistants to join our Pet Team. As a Pet Claims Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our business, responsible for delivering our exceptional customer service by supporting customers and their pets in their time of need. We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering a quality service to our customers, with the ability to build relationships whilst showing empathy. If you’ve got strong communication skills and like working as part of a team, then this may be the perfect role for you. The starting salary for this role is £23,000. This role is based onsite at our Halifax office. We find that working together in the office increases collaboration and engagement, and also supports your development too! What will I be doing? Taking inbound calls from customers, veterinary practices and third parties. This will include logging claims, providing claim updates, and answering general queries. Working as a team to achieve strong customer performance results, providing a service to customers that is memorable for the right reasons and builds our reputation as a great company to work for and do business with. Developing and enhancing customer relationships, keeping them updated through several communication channels such as telephone and email. Having courageous conversations with customers and delivering difficult messages with tact and empathy. Generally assisting with administration tasks to support the claims assessors. Identifying potentially fraudulent claims and following the agreed processes for referral Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and quality standards set by the company. First class people skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, including external claims teams, both verbally and written. Able to listen and show empathy to customers during what can be a difficult time and use initiative to provide solutions. Able to meet targets and deadlines. Able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Trustworthy and reliable. High attention to detail. Computer literate and able to work on multiple computer systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
