JOB SPECIFICATION

We are currently recruiting for a Slitting Operator, where you will be responsible for the setting up and running of our Universal Slitting Machines. You will be expected to work 12 hours shifts 6am to 6pm working 4 days on / 4 days off.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES

Responsible for ensuring that the slitter is ran to its optimum efficiency, working to high standards and set procedures. Ensuring that customers’ requirements are always met.

Responsible to remove reels as directed and package them, accordingly, ensuring customer specifications are always met.

Ensuring all KPI’s across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Cash are achieved and met on a shift by shift basis.

Keen to learn all aspects of the slitting process

Excellent communication skills to be able to ask lots of questions and keep yourself busy

Min 5 GCSE’s in English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above.

Salary: £27,282.00 - £30,313.00 per year
