Bristol (Hybrid) | Full-Time | £45,000 – £60,000 Bonus


We're partnering with Datamine, a global leader in technology solutions for sustainable and efficient mining operations based in Central Bristol, operating as part of a much larger global network. In this role, you'll support the financial management of the UK entity, taking ownership of core finance functions while working closely with the Head of Finance and global teams. It’s a hands-on position, ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their finance career.


You’ll be involved in financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end close, ensuring everything runs smoothly and aligns with group standards. You'll also play a key part in maintaining compliance across VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, and assist with audit preparation.


There’s also room to grow - whether it’s helping improve financial processes, contributing to group-wide projects, or getting exposure to strategic finance work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move towards a full Financial Controller role in the future.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing financial control, reporting and forecasting for the UK entity
  • Leading on compliance across VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and audit support
  • Managing month-end close, intercompany transactions, and financial performance analysis
  • Working with the global finance team to align processes and support strategic decisions
  • Driving process improvement and supporting system efficiencies


What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting or financial control
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT, and financial compliance
  • Experience with tools like Xero, QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills
  • Detail-driven, organised, and confident working independently
  • Bonus if you’ve worked with international teams or businesses
