Construction Labourer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction of buildings and other structures.
• Perform general site clean-up, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from lorries.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely under supervision.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the assembly of scaffolding and other temporary structures as required.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to construction practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is preferred.
• A valid driver's licence is beneficial for transportation purposes.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
