Health and Safety Advisor

Our General Manager - Network Health and Safety is currently recruiting for an outstanding Health and Safety Advisor to join their highly experienced and growing team. Your primary purpose will be to work with network and hub management to ensure legal compliance with health and safety legislation. Providing H&S advice and expertise to all business areas and teams. Supporting H&S Team in delivering critical H&S projects and programmes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the business to promote and regulate a high standard of health & safety awareness in order to fully achieve compliance with legislation.
• Working with the business to promote a positive health and safety culture within DPD and support the strategic direction of the company.
• Supporting and advising sites in achieving compliance to health and safety legislation and effective reporting.
• Supporting sites with incident investigation and carrying out investigations of major incidents.
• Undertake frequent monitoring checks and inspections of sites as required.
• Work collaboratively to deliver progress towards Health and Safety Projects.
• Drive positive cultural change through employee consultation, engagement programs and delivery of health and safety information.
• Attendance at site and departmental Meetings as required.
