Working alongside the Registered Manager, the post holder will also work as care worker on the field when needed.
The post holder will manage the Organisation’s paper and online/digital Quality Documentation System of policies, procedures, and record forms, and advise staff of any up-dates, amendments or other changes to policies, procedures and care standards.
The post holder will work both in the office and the service users’ sites and assist in undertaking spot audits of service delivery in accordance with documented procedures and supervision of staff.
Under the direction of the Registered Manager, assist in the quality monitoring process, undertaking visits as required.
Monitoring and implementation of service standard for the company. Ensure detailed records, audits and documentation are maintained of all activities as required by company standard.
Participate in recruitment and selection process as required and support and assist new members of staff. To assist in induction training and “shadowing” of new staff, as appropriate.
To supervise and monitor a growing team of carers by ensuring all work is covered and carried out to high standard in line with care plan.
The successful applicant will have previous domiciliary care experience, be highly motivated, very ambitious and passionate about care of people with autism and learning disabilities; have a thorough understanding of social care and CQC regulations; have a minimum level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare, Early Childhood Studies or in a related social care field. The successful applicant must also be computer literate.
Being a car driver is an essential part of this position.
The hours are part time to begin with. These may gradually increase in the near future.
