Are you passionate about developing your skills as a bartender and providing exceptional customer service? Join our team as part-time bar staff at Morley's premium wine bar and kitchen! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are available to work Saturdays, including key dates throughout December & New Year's Eve with overtime opportunities available
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Develop an understanding on alcohol sales legislation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Assist in restocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in bartending or working in a restaurant/bar setting is preferred, but we would love to help you develop your skills, should you require
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology is a plus
