Multi Drop Van Driver

Excellent opportunity for Multi Drop Van Driver based in Peterborough.

Full Time / Permanent position, Guaranteed 45-hour a week contract,

Mondays – Fridays only, No Weekends!

Benefits and Salary:

Starting salary of £29,250 per annum (based on a 45 hour working week)

Opportunity of overtime, paid at the rate of time & ¼ after the completion of 45 hours.

Opportunity to earn up to £37,377 per annum! with overtime (based on a 55 hour week)

Potential bonus payment of £600 (Bi-annually, Performance Related)

Shift start times are approximately between the hours of 04:00am to 07:00am

Job Summary:

You will be delivering building materials to local, regional, and national trade, and public customers. You will be required to build and maintain good working relations with customers to ensure satisfaction and uphold the company's great reputation at all times.

Candidate Duties:

• Carry out daily checks in line with company procedures prior to leaving the depot to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
• Ensure the load is safe and secure and the correct vehicle is being taken out
• Fuel management
• Record paperwork, delivery notes and handle cash where required

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with the entitlement to a 3.5 Tonne Flatbed Van
• Minimum 5 years driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your current licence
• Good geographical and road knowledge
• Physical fitness as there will be some aspects of manual handling
• Good customer facing & verbal communication skills
