EQUANS is recruiting for a Mobile Landscape Operative to be based in Sandyford Community Fire Station ST6 5ED. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,500 per annum and benefits package.
Shift times;
Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm
As a Mobile Landscape Operative you will be expected to perform a wide range of duties covering all aspects of grounds and gardens maintenance across all stations. Tasks will include, but not be limited to mowing and strimming; weeding and pruning; seasonal planting; general upkeep and tidiness; winter gritting and litter picking. You will have a flexible approach with the ability to plan and manage your own workload, taking into consideration the changing needs of the Fire Service as well as the Community Users and evolving seasonal demands, and be able to carry out all works safely.
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?
• Experience in a ground’s maintenance role
• Good timekeeping and attendance record.
• An outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
• Proven experience of delivering a high-quality service with an eye for detail, and the ability to communicate those expectations to the rest of the team to achieve the same high standards.
• Experience of completing Risk Assessments & Method Statements
