Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a General Services Manager to work for one of our clients based in Filton, UK.

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Our client is looking for a dynamic and passionate General Services Managerto join the team and make a significant impact across their UK sites in Filton and Newport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the UK Head of General Services and the General Services Lead to shape and implement best practices across multiple regions.
  • Operational Excellence:Drive the delivery of essential services that keep sites and plants running smoothly. This includes:
    • Graphics & Multimedia Administration
    • Catering Services & Restaurants
    • Cleaning Services & Waste Management
    • Grounds Management
    • Transportation Services
    • Documentation Archiving and Library Management
    • Mailroom Services
  • Financial Stewardship:Support annual budgeting, investment requirements, and audits to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Compliance & Integrity:Maintain a strong commitment to compliance and integrity, ensuring success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
  • Service Delivery:Manage a variety of service providers, ensuring adherence to KPIs and contractual obligations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Attend custodian reviews and customer meetings to communicate activities, gather feedback, and implement necessary actions.
  • Transnational Representation:Represent the UK in defining transnational strategies within General Services.
Requirements

  • Agility & Deadline Management:Ability to manage workload with agility and deliver to deadlines.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Keen interest and awareness of health and safety standards.
  • Process Competency: Competent in working to the requirements of processes and procedures.
  • Financial Acumen: Awareness of procurement, purchasing, and tender processes.
  • Stakeholder Management:Proven experience in managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Autonomy:Ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Facility Management Experience:Experience in facility management or similar deliverables is advantageous.
